Prep night for grilled lobster tails was a breeze with these. The blades are razor sharp and the tiny serrations on one side stop hard, wet shells from sliding out. Even with oily, buttered fingers, the handles gave me plenty of control.

I bought these specifically to spatchcock a 5-lb whole chicken for Sunday dinner, and they sheared right through the backbone and rib cartilage like it was thick cardboard. My old shears with plastic handles always felt like they were about to snap under pressure, but these have serious leverage. The micro-serrations really grip the slippery poultry skin so it doesn’t slide forward when you clamp down. Well worth every penny.
