If you’re looking for an ultra-thin kitchen paring knife, this isn’t it—the 4mm spine is made for hard outdoor use and will split hard apples rather than thin-slice them. But for wood processing, batoning, rope cutting, and all-around wilderness chores, it is absolute perfection. 4.5 stars.

Took this along on a rainy trail weekend in Washington state. Between morning dew, rain, and damp wood, everything got soaked. Wiped the blade down at the end of each day and didn’t get any staining or surface rust. The AUS-10 stainless steel lives up to the claims.

Got this for my husband’s birthday since he goes backcountry camping every month. He was super impressed with the weight, the real leather sheath, and the fact that it’s made in Japan. He said it’s easily the sharpest knife he owns now. Arrived well-packaged and fast.

The texture on these G10 scales is dialed in perfectly. I cleaned a couple of trout down by the creek with wet, slimy hands and never once felt like I was losing control of the blade. No hot spots in the palm after extended carving either. TONMA did a stellar job on the handle contouring.

Great fixed blade with very good steel for a great price!! It come very sharp and ready to slice! The holster is a pretty decent one that makes the knife easily accessible by having a attachment to be attached to a belt!

Took this out to the woods last weekend to prep firewood for the campfire. The 4mm spine is seriously thick—I was able to baton right through seasoned oak branches without a flinch. It came razor sharp out of the box and shaved feather sticks like butter. The G10 handle gave me great traction even when my hands were dusty and cold. Solid bushcraft tool.
