TONMA® is a niche brand that focuses on the manufacture of scissors and knives. “Happy work and happy life, making heart-warming products” is our mission.
Since 1998, the founder, Mr. Kawasumi, has inherited his father’s traditional exquisite scissor manufacturing skills and established production workshops in Yokohama, Kanagawa and Adachi, Tokyo.
Since then, we have focused on the manufacture of scissors and knives, especially gardening scissors, which are our proudest works. Since 2018, we have established export trading companies in Guangdong, China and Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, to carry out ODM export business to the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the United States, and began to recruit brand agents to gradually promote the niche brand TONMA to the global market.
Although our workshop is small, our colleagues are warm and friendly like family. We have many professional traditional knife craftsmen and excellent quality control teams, which makes us unique in the industry.
