    I’ve been quilting for over 15 years and have gone through more pairs of scissors than I can count. These TONMA shears are genuinely impressive. I tested them on 10 layers of cotton batting and they glided right through without any dragging. The bent handle is a real thoughtful touch — my fabric stays flat on the table instead of lifting, which makes a huge difference for precision cuts. The weight feels balanced, not too heavy for long sessions. Well worth the investment for serious crafters.

    I had been using inexpensive fabric scissors for years, thinking they were “good enough.” After trying these TONMA shears, I realize how much extra effort I was putting in with inferior tools.     What sets these apart is their versatility. I use them in the same session for cutting delicate embroidery fabric and then switching to thick canvas. Most scissors are either good at one or the other. These handle both cleanly. The blades are long enough for smooth, continuous cuts on large fabric panels and precise enough for pattern work.
